Shows the difference between foreign refs and ours. The Gazza booking was ridiculous and the ref here took it really well and came out of it well. Dougie Smith came out of his booking looking like an arse.

I had a holiday romance with Dougie Smith’s daughter a couple of years before this when I was 14.
He lived in Troon and I went through and spent a weekend with them when we got back.
He was a nice enough chap! Was shocked when he did this to be honest.

Was against Hibs as well. I seem to remember Willie Miller telling tonref to behave it was only a joke!

That ref is very good as the player goes in to his pocket to take the card but he still laughs it off.
