    Medals Watch - Grim outlook.

    Our old chum is clearly exasperated. Have a chuckle at his latest tome;

Wasn't long ago they were touching themselves to the great streak of clean sheets

As a very small aside, Kilmarnock probably scored more goals against Hibs on Saturday than we’ve had shots on target in our two trips to Easter Road this season. It’s a small, pernickety point, but it sums up why this season has been so underwhelming.
    Underwhelming.

Who cares? They are an irrelevance . It was not that long ago that Romanov declared that they were going to win the Champions League before sailing off in his submarine leaving those that were still here left behind to pick up the pieces after leaving a trail of debt.

It looks as though things have not progressed since those heady days as Harry Potter is talking about another clear out in the summer if Budgie allows him to remain in control. Surely the penny has to drop sooner rather than later.

Even a down beat assessment from them reeks of entitlement. We should be challenging at the top of the premiership nonsense...

They fail to explain just why that should be the case. With the Glasgow duo, Hibs and Aberdeen they have genuine competition for that top of the table challenge, chuck in one or two other sides that are having g a good season (Killie this time around, St J last time etc.) and then you end up exactly where they are; mid table.

The simple justification seems to be that it’s because the are Hearts. We could call that ‘The Famous’ delusion.

He really doesn't like Potter does he. Must be a real rivalry about their respectable medal haul between them.

I love the pic of him at the top of the article....Brown striped shirt...who in god's name wears a brown striped shirt ? (other than the barman in 'Minder').

He really is all set to pop his Cardigan on with the suede patches and his driving gloves !!

Remember, Medals is a throwback to the Mercer era so he’s known nothing else. The clear pain he’s experiencing is very pleasing.

He can add the last league game at Tynecastle to it as well, they had no shots on target in that match too.

MacKay is making a thinly veiled attack on Potter. Great stuff.

For me it's funny how their club represents a lot of their fan base.

Middle management bankers who were spending well beyond their means in the good years and then came the crash and they just couldn't accept living within their means, credit cards galore to maintain the Land Rover and twice a year holidays along with the wife's high tea obsession.

They went in balls deep with the Naismith loan in a desperate attempt to challenge for 3rd and a money spinning trip to Hampden, the bigwigs must be Levein 86ing it as the reality sinks in that all it got them was a spanking from Motherwell in the QFs and 5 spankings post split.

But on a good day when the product on the park is not up to much he can turn round when he is in hospitality and gaze lovingly at Edinburgh Castle.

    Oh wait......................
