Standard Friday so I thought. Just had a business meeting with Albert Kidd's son. Amazing how wee things in life connected to being a Hibee can put a smile on your face!!

Being a bus driver in Edinburgh and seeing so many folk kicking about in Hibs gear brings a smile to my face. 5 years ago when I started with Lothian Buses it was a rare sight, almost like we were ashamed to be seen in anything related to the club. How times have changed

Driving along to the ticket office earlier and seeing Kamberi standing outside the team bus. Gave him a beep of the horn and I got a huge smile and a wave like he was an old friend.
United we stand here....

Feeling confident going into any derby game.
Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

Just thinking about the Famous Five, and the rest of that team, swells me with pride.

Honest jambos knowing their place, admitting they are sh*te at the mo and that Hibs are second best team in Scotland.

Walking toward Easter Road on a Saturday knowing we will have at least 16500 home fans and wondering how the hell did this happen; then I remember 21.05 2016

To spend that day with over twenty thousand other Hibees who felt exactly the same way through the peaks and troughs of that game was something special.

Periodically seeing the comments of fans of other teams from all over the world absolutely loving our Sunshine on Leith after winning both of our last two cups.

Walking down my brother's street in South London and seeing a guy out for a run in a Hibs strip.

You’re right. Could have chosen a few other derbies but decided to go for ”the big two”.
Cup final wins were a given.

Smashing the biggest hoodoo in world sport in spectacular style on 21.05.16. It meant the world, and just thinking about it makes me feel 10 feet tall.

People now smile when you tell them you are a Hibby rather than give you a weird look.

Running the World (Sport Aid) in Glasgow in a Hibs top back in 1986...
I have lived down South since 1987 and it still makes me tingle when I walk down Easter Road or Leith Walk. Walking into pubs I knew as a teenager/young man that have hardly changed (and some that have). Recognising a few faces from the past, and yes, some still recognise me. The feeling of anticipation as it gets closer to match time. The hairs standing up on the back of my neck walking along Albion Road and seeing the FF stand. Last time I was up was for Partick and I was in the West Stand where the Enclosure used to be. Happy Days! The noise, the atmosphere, the banter, the SUNSHINE ON LEITH.... Oh to be a Hibby!

I remember when I was growing up and being thankful there were no jambos in my year in secondary during 22 in a row. I actually can't remember a single hearts fan in my school, was mostly hibs and rangers.
One of the best feelings I had as a hibs fan was walking into school after that rangers semi final before obviously beating Dunfermline.
