    Harry Kane

See Harry Kane won his appeal to get the goal against Stoke credited to him. Seems a bit desperate to me.

Makes me sick, I've got a shaved head I'd have never pulled that appeal off. Purely hairist English FA.

Any truth in the rumour he has claimed all 3 Juve goals tonight.

Not sure Pal but Levein has claimed Hearts were robbed and Club 1872 are due to release a statement. Wallace has reported the penalty incident to the local police and Hibs fans will be blamed for everything.

I've got Eriksen in my FF team. Hope I don't lose points. 😕

I've got Harry Kane so I hope you do!

Came off pretty embarrassing, imagine swearing on your daughters life for a stupid thing like claiming a goal.

Hope Salah wins the golden boot by a distance now

Agreed. What a stupid thing to say. Kane has definitely gone down in my estimation.
    He's now filed under 'plonker'.

If it was a hibs player who was fighting for the golden boot we would be pleased with a decision in favour of the player. Good on Kane who is a world class striker

Not really fighting for the golden boot as that’s done and dusted. But he scored the goal and was correct to appeal. A striker who isn’t goal hungry is of little use to anybody.

Agree with that to an extent but did he not follow it up by saying it was a team game and all that matters is that they won.

What Hibs player would want to fight over Anne Budge?

  17. #16
I’ve not seen the goal he has successfully claimed. I tried searching twitter but only found a host of people doing the same joke about him claiming various other goals.

  18. #17
Did he not claim something a bit weird like it brushed his shoulder on the way through?

I actually like Kane and do agree with the comments above about wanting a goal hungry striker but that's just a bit too much for me.....

    Video:

Difficult to see but I don't see any real deflection of the trajectory.
At best it flicks his shirt and he puts the keeper off.

Taken directly from the FF website:

While the second Spurs goal v Stoke City has now been awarded to Harry Kane after review, this will not be reassigned in FPL in accordance with the game rules and therefore points will not be modified.

His touch made no difference to the flight of the ball, should be Erikson's goal.

Looked at the video. Inconclusive IMO however, if Kane's willing to bring his kid's life into the equation, let him have it if he's that desperate. WGAF.

Disagree. He scored 2 hattricks in the last 2 games to take the golden boot last year and is more than capable of retaining it if he gets a few doubles in the next run of games

So he touched it but it’s not his goal? Ok.

If he didn't touch (which he may not have) it would still have gone in.

If he’s any touch at all then it’s his goal.

If he has went for the ball and touched it, however lightly then it goes in it's his goal?

    That makes no sense.

If his touch is so light that it doesn't even move the ball then why should he get the goal?

The important part is the “touch”. No matter how light, if it touched him it’s his goal

Surely you are winding us up here? Doesn’t matter how light the touch is if it touches him and goes in it’s his goal.

I'm not sure that you're grasping the finer details of how goals are credited to a football player.
