With their history, I wouldn’t put it past the hearts fans if it had been xenophobic abuse.

Fair enough. The way the world is at the moment, it’s probably better having a fifty pee hurled at your heid than that type of verbal nonsense. Sticks and stones in reverse.

After booking Ricky, the ref picked something up and put it in his pocket. Looked like a coin

Funny that they chucked all the flares they had before the first whistle. They knew they wouldn't get a chance otherwise.

I happened to be watching the ball retrieval at this incident and saw exactly what happened.
Some relatively blobby jambo managed to get hold of the ball and was shouting abuse at Rocky at great length while keeping the ball. Rocky just stood patiently watching him and waiting. At the end of his rant the hoofballista threw the ball directly at Rocky trying to hit him with it. As the ball reached Ricky he connected nicely with it and booted it into the crowd.
No idea what the subnormal one was saying but I don't imagine it was affectionate.

Ref picked up the lighter and seemed to show it to the 4th official.

That was so he could offer a light to Scott Allan for his big fat cigar he had in his mouth in the second half...
