    Your derby day

So what are your plans for the day/evening. I wont be at the game I only wish I could be. Working Friday but will be glued to the box come 7ish, most likely with a bottle or two or something and front window decked out in green and white.

Are you going for a pre match pint or two?

Cant make the game due to my mums 70th birthday in Belfast but by god I’ll be drunk by 6pm on Friday!! Derbies, even when the jambos are pish, always make me nervous

I will be getting up around 8am.

Go for a swim in the pool/hottub then shower. I need to call and buy some trainers so will do that before heading to the pub at 2ish for a 2.45 kick off.

Nice way to spend my last day in Florida. Mon Hibs.

Took a half day at work, finish at 12.30 as have a few of my mates, straight from south gale into leith to hit the boozer for a solid 6 hours before the game.. then out after..hopefully celebrating!!

been to four in hand last few times, but wouldn't mind going somewhere else before this one. Suggestions for best boozers?

Was, up until tonight, working til 9 Friday night.. Have managed to get away for 7:30. Will still miss kick off, but will be heading straight to my local in Newcastle to cheer on the boys in green and white.

Girlfriend and daughter are away this week so 1st weekend to do as I please for months.

Working until 5. Iona for half past, few pints, game, few more pints, something unhealthy to eat on the way home, sleep, pub again by early afternoon Saturday for more celebratory beers, more unhealthy food then sleep all day Sunday.

ER for four pm as I have been lucky enough to have been asked to hospitality. Really looking forward to it, been in hospitality at ER before but never for a derby. Eldest daughter using my ST to take my son to the game. She is just about as excited as me as she has never been to a derby even though she had a ST for a number of years.

Got a ticket yesterday in the pub about 5:45 3 or 4 pints before the game. Enough to give you a wee buzz but still enjoy the game and actually remember what happened. Hopefully another couple after the game recalling a comfy win.

Finish work at five, bite to eat in La Fav, few beers before the game, several beers after it then home to prepare for Saturday pub day and Liverpool v Manure on tv.

I usually drive to the fitba but on Fri I fancy going for a few pints but will have the wee man on tow.

Can anyone recommend a place where I could go around Easter Road that kids can get in?

Not E/R but the Tor at Hawkill or Tamsons half way down E/R used to allow kids in

3 possibles here near Torrevieja, will visit all before final decision, fortunately the local decent nightclubs round here all just started opening again, totally amazing the stamina you find, even after a huge skinfull already, when getting a result against spoiling fouling levein led charity theivin pub team no-marks like these who still now, after bumping Lady Haigs charity, every remembrance time act like their team did everything WW1 & no other team did anything. That’s them though. I’m still at the moment, after speaking to some folk around, on a bit of a high horse here about how much of the nonsense everybody in Edinburgh nowadays puts down to red top rag nonsense , but it is what has actually been read & taken as fact elsewhere!
    Friday late will be immense!

Working then home for my tea. No pints for me, straight to the game and then when we win I’ll possibly go out after.

As it's on Sky I'll go up to a friends to watch it then back to the house for a couple of beers. Always feel a bit canny before a derby.

Alarm set for 6.30 in the morning. Grab laptop, watch game on Hibs TV in bed, have breakfast at half time.

Back to sleep if we lose. Back to sleep if we win.

Finish work at 230. Bus into town, probably head down to either the harp and castle or Robbie’s for a few pre match beverages. Absolutely buzzing for this one, we are due to give someone a doing this season and no better game for it than this one! 🍻

I’m taking my five year old to his first derby match having been at a few matches before so I’ll be on best behaviour and hope a certain Hibernian pub owner on leith walk will let us in for a couple before the match, head home and watch it all over again. Can’t wait for the look on his face seeing the stadium in the lights full house.

With no games on in the EPL or Championship I should, hopefully, be safe to get a spot booked in my local to watch the game, probably without sound but c'est la vie.

A wee Hibs, Scotland and France treble would make it the most Carlsberg of weekends

Up at 5.30am. Off to work until 5pm. Bus straight to town. In the pub for 6pm for a few beers then the match. Back to the pub afterwards.

    That's about it.

I’ve got an exam at half 1 so have to postpone any pre match exuberance until half 4 ☹️

I’m on holiday in New Zealand. Mate using season ticket. Will watch on Hibs TV at 8:45am on Sat local time.
Was glad the Hamilton game was cancelled as I will be home for the rearranged date. Really been hot down here...how is the weather back home?
