    Your team v Motherwell

    Marciano

    Rherras McGregor Hanlon Stevenson

    Boyle McGinn McGeouch Barker

    Maclaren Matulevicius

Couple reasons for this unorthodox selection:

    • Time to play players that fit their position. Rherras is a right back, Ambrose IS NOT a right back. If you're going to sign a right back to be below not a right back in the pecking order, what is the ****ing point of signing said right back?
    • Our wingers - whilst fast and direct - cannot be relied on to consistently create chances and score goals, so we can't play one up front. Slivka has been playing well but is sacrificed as a consequence.
    • Our strikers haven't been scoring, so we might as well try the one we've never played (and is a target man so wingers might actually work) and the one we've signed who is a PROVEN GOALSCORER. Starting Shaw, then Murray, then Shaw as lone striker in the games since we've signed this guy (goals scored: 1) have been absolutely baffling decisions from Lennon. Having two wingers and a target man would be great service.

Feel like some of our players will need a rest so could be a chance to try some new players.

    .......................Marciano.........

    Ambrose...McGregor....Hanlon....Rherras

    ................Mcgeouch....Mcginn..........

    Barker................Slivka...........Swanson....

    ........................Maclaren........

    Efe was solid yesterday
    Stevenson rarely gets a rest
Swanson has looked good and deserves a start
Boyle hasn’t quite been at it lately
Slivka has been better so deserves to keep his start
    Maclaren to freshen things upfront

    Marciano

    Ambrose Hanlon Mcgregor

    McGeouch

    Boyle Swanson Slivka Barker

    Maclaren Dave

Controversial to drop McGinn but I feel playing him and McGeouch at the same time is harming us in the final third.

Ambrose has played right back for Nigeria in the World Cup finals. He does my head in from time to time and there was no excuse for his performance at the piggery the other week but in the 2nd half yesterday he was excellent.

Dont think Lenny will be giving Danny a start for the moment, though i do think a fit & focused Swanson brings loads to the team hopefully we'll be seeing that in the near future.

Also think we need something different upfront shaw or Murray up top on their own just doesn't work at all...would like to see two up top, one of them being maclaren, give he guy a decent run out and see what he can do

    I'd agree with this team.

    Love to see Maclaren start

I'd start McLaren. Shaw was poor yesterday.

Plus McLaren is only in on a short loan, if he's not ready to play then it's a pointless signing as there isn't actually that many games left for us this season.

Anyone who wants to play only two in centre midfield is a whopper.

    That's it.

I HONESTLY THOUGHT OF THAT TEAM AS WELL BUT i DO NOT THINK LENNON IS BRAVE (OR DAFT) ENOUGH TO TRY IT. (SORRY FOR CAPS -DID NOT REALISE i HAD LEFT CAPS ON)

    Isn't Rherras a left-back?

    Can play either.

Lennon mentioned in the post match interview he could play RB but we need to establish his match fitness first.
