Admins I feel this is a separate issue to the stand. It’s a matter of integrity so worthy of discussion in its own right.
They’re conveniently ignoring very recent history in an attempt to wipe the slate clean and needs challenged. Hence a separate thread.

There was plenty debt along the journey to this point, and they're in debt to the good doctor now, unless she never intends to collect.

They never had debt as they owed to themselves. Love the comment about us giving away Cummings on the cheap. Maybe a kind soul can get a blackboard and chalk and bring them up to speed on that one?

You build a £15m and rising stand to increase capacity by 2000. Now thats £7500 a seat. Your crowds are declining not rising so how do you recoup the money and over how long a timescale?
New hospitality opportunities maybe bring in £1m turnover at a push netting 250k profit. No addition ticket sales except maybe 6 times a season which might gross an additional 3-400k so on the back of a big fag packet they get an additional £550-600k per year a goodly proportioon of which the yams will expect to send on players they cannot afford and repaying Budge her money plus interest at 6%.
No matter which way they spin it FOH / benifactor "donations" aside they are looking at 30 years just to break even.
They are back to their delusional owing to themselves mode and living well beyond their financial means and still not managing to climb the hill of level playing field.
Potter's miracle is not the bew stand but that the deluded yams still believe he's a football manager and that the think they actually own Ann Budge's club.Last edited by hibbyfraelibby; 29-12-2017 at 04:51 PM.
