Should be putting his feet up tonight knowing he scored the winning goal. Has been cheated.

He did well in a physical contest which surprised me - he is pretty decent in the air as well

He's been robbed of a fantastic goal tonight, hopefully doesn't do his confidence any harm but it's great to see a young player really starting to cement a place in the team now.

see when numptys tell me after 5 mins of watchin Slivka play ( you know who you are) that he is a class player ( and him doing nothing since to prove it) well im going to say after 5 mins of watching Shaw - the boy is a player.

    Not for me I’m afraid.

Played really well the first 30-35 minutes but I think we really need an experienced out and out striker.

He may be a great prospect but I personally don’t think he’s ready to be starting games just yet.

Done well and as has been said he should be going home tonight knowing he’s scored the winner and added to his rapidly rising stock. Becoming farcical how little we get against they dicks.

A terrific prospect. Well done Oli and hard-lines pal with scoring a perfectly good goal that only the officials missed. Good lad .

Good finisher but still has a bit to go. Early days though.

Thought he was good for first half an hour then pretty anonymous after. Good prospect but needs to get stronger and get stuck in more.

Looks like an instinctive penalty box player. Tonight he made the near post run and got ahead of the defender. On Saturday he did the same for the winner regardless if he got the touch or it was an og.

Not something you can readily teach. An exciting young prospect, if he keeps focused and steers clear of major injury then we can look forward to a great career

He’s made more of an impact than Cummings did in an equivalent number of games. If he ends up with half as a good a record as Cummings, albeit at a higher level, he’ll be a good one.

A penalty box striker, had one chance tonight and scored it. Give this lad the service and he'll finish.

Absolutely this ...... I've moaned for years about nobody making near post runs, now we have a guy who makes them constantly, he did it more than once tonight and scored against County doing the same thing ............. bad luck tonight son, you should have a winning goal in a derby beside your name. I agree Oli dropped out the game after about 65 minutes, but before then his movement and hold up play was top drawer, I can see him getting stronger and better, what a prospect

Shaw is a natural finisher and knows how to put the ball in the back of the net and get himself into threatening positions in the box.
He has proven himself in big games (Celtic 2 games, 2 goals) and tonight he scored in the heat of a derby, but infuriatingly was the victim of another Hibs derby injustice.
He can now be considered good enough to start and finish games as much as any of our regulars.

Gutted for the lad. Should have a derby winner under his belt. Disgraceful call.

Game got away from him second half but then I thought we sat in and didn’t support our forwards at all. Great first half though. I’d keep chucking him in like we done with Jason the more games under his belt the better he’ll become. I wasn’t a fan of his at first but he’s defo proved me wrong, boy can finish!

Nice to have a striker that attacks the near post. Very unlucky with the goal and even unluckiest to be taken off as he was our best striker on the night. Stokes should have been hooked at half time as he looked totally disinterested again.

He seems to play with a lot more maturity than Cummings ever did too. A lot of awareness and a good eye for a pass. He’ll do great for us.

He's our best all round striker. I've seen enough after half a dozen games to know he's going to be a star.
    There. I've said it.
