    The derby

The most finely poised one for a while.

If it was at Easter Road I'd be about 90% confident of us winning.

At the moment, because it's at Tiny, I'm about 60/40 in our favour

However, the fact that they've lost Harry Zidane to suspension coupled with Stokes outstanding performance yesterday could push me to 70/30 for us.

It's a tough one to call.

    1-0 Hibs

They don't concede many but they also don't score many.

We just need to keep it tight at the back, which we haven't managed to do much as we really struggle to keep clean sheets.

There's not usually much in these games and I don't think this game will be any different. Hopefully Martin Boyle will be on top form as their struggles at left back are well documented.

The next couple of games are going to be very tough. Hearts and Killie are the two form teams in the league over the last 6 games. Both get the ball into the box a lot and are pretty robust. I would bite your hand off for 4 points out of 6

I'd settle for just 3 points.

They have won 3 out of their last nine hardly scary

Fair point but they're not conceding at the moment.

    I'm a wee bit scared.

Without Cochrates pulling the strings in the middle I think the Jambo youthquake will struggle to play their normal fluid best. 1-1.

I would rather have Cochrane playing than Walker. On his day Walker can be a matchwinner.

I don’t see too much wrong in what he said. We put three past them recently and their keeper stopped it being a rout on other occasions.

    Why are you scared?

Draw. We score early they score a dodgy penalty whilst getting away with everything.

When was the last time we scored 4 goals in a league game?

We've scored three goals twice in league matches so far this season.

Because they seem to have really tightened up at the back since Harry took over.

Just can't see us scoring 3 or 4 there.

Yep. They aren't a shambles anymore. That mentality we need to lose.

All about who takes their chances... and gets the breaks..... and gets the ref decisions. Therefore it's a complete lottery.

    2-0 Hibs

I've been there when we scored 7 (seven).

I can see this going down the bedwetting route. Just say no.
1-0 or 7-0, we’re going to sort them out!

My head says 0-0 though and I’ll be sticking a fiver on that. :-D

Similar. New year derbys at tynecastle are always dull boring affairs. Sure the last time there was more than one goal in one was the 4-4 game in ‘03.

I was listening on a crackly radio going over Carter bar in a blizzard. I almost did my nut and killed the family crashing the car screaming at the radio
