... was exceptional. Nice feed from Barker, cheeky wee 'meg then BOOF! - top left hand corner.
Well done Simon. After falling down the pecking order, to come back with a goal of that standard shows why NL brought you in.

Well done Simon, thats the way to show them!
Lennon knows what you have to offer and with Stokes injured tonight you took the chance to show him what he was missing.
You gave that bedraggled defence something to think about all night. They took turn about following you around and still didnt stop you.
The attitude was spot on pal and i hope you will continue to learn and become an established Hibs player.

Even McGinn's pre-emptive body roll to get out the way was a thing of beauty.

A truly fantastic and memorable goal by Murray that should be a runner for goal of the month at least.
This goal will lift his confidence sky high, especially considering the importance of the match and his recent barren run.
Murray is a favourite of mine and hopefully this goal will reignite his golden-touch.Last edited by Hi Heid Yin; 24-10-2017 at 11:44 PM.

Cracking nutmeg and smash into the top corner. Keep it up Murray.
His post match interview is really humble as well and worth a listen, what a guy.

Many Hibees of my vintage (warm and full-bodied, and well-matured ) might remember an occasion at the Midden when those who reached the terracing just over 10 minutes after KO (grounds filled slowly in those days) also saw a 0-0 which actually computed out as 0-4 to the Good Guys - Eric Stevenson and Jim O'Rourke each scored 2 before I got in.
We'd heard the roars, didn't know who had scored. I was very nearly banjoed by the Jambo I asked. He thought I was being funny. (As if I would .... )
Now if Carlsberg made 0-0 draws ....
Well done the guys tonight, and well done young Simon!
