'unlikely to leave' - Strange - surely IF they had been serious about McGregor then Hearts/'All-is' would know if McGregor was prepared to leave or not - 'Unlikely' says they didn't know because they didn't ask him, they didn't ask him as -

1) There was NEVER any 'interest' as McGregor is too big for them in terms of football and money - the story was purely and simply to sell season-tickets.

2) They knew there'd be no chance of him swapping Championship wages for Tyney wages - not forgetting the fact Hull have a stadium that's actually complete and light-years ahead of the PBS in every department.


The 'Hearts interested in McGregor' was just their usual ploy - being associated with a player that there's not the slightest chance of them getting ! 'It's pure and blatant 'Jamboganda', willingly carried out by the likes of 'All-is' - who'll write any old keech for their 'cause' - 'Hearts ARE a 'Big team' and they ARE to be taken seriously' !!

Sounds similar to the new manager situation. Mention of "big name" candidates but they end up settling with virtually the only remaining option. Don't know what this guy is like but with less than a week of the window remaining it was probably him or no-one.
