Hi all,
Sorry to add another Lenny thread, but I felt that this subject deserves its own focus.
I'm just 27, and I know some are a wee bit longer in the tooth than I, but I genuinely think that Lenny is probably the best manager I've witnessed in an ER dugout.
With all the crap going on with the Huns and knuckle draggers, would it not be a real signal of intent, as well as a strong display of solidarity to get the man on a new contract?
Lennon is taking our club places, and he really deserves our support. C'mon Hibs!

I'd agree with that but it will all depend on what Lenny wants.
If he keeps going the way he has then Id expect a Championship club to come calling eventually but again is that what he wants. Was it not said his family are settled here which made a move back here desirable.
We should definitely be offering something though.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Indeed sort him out a contract, the knuckle draggers with about 1 braincell between them are also trying to get a contract for Lennon.

Realistically we are the only club he will manage in Scotland over the next few years and his stock wont be too high in England as he struggled abit at Bolton. I would offer him a 2 year extension and say what he says , I suspect he would be fairly happy to get the deal done.

While we're at it, get SJM on a extended deal too!

He should be put behind bars...... at Easter Road
I'd be raging if he was any other clubs manager. Love him as our own.

Doing an unbelievable job- we've got a squad we could barely have dreamt off before within the space of 3 windows. It wasn't even a shock we won at Ibrox coming up from the Championship- says it all.
New contract HAS to be in the works surely?

It would also be quite poetic if, instead of some lengthy reply to the Club 1872 (ahem 2012) statement, the only thing coming out of ER this week is a brief announcement that NL has agreed a 2-year contract extension.

If he gets the jail this week I'll gladly pay £20 odd quid to sit in his seat on the bench with my ears cupped for 90 minutes!!!

I think Lennons next move will be back to Celtic, hopefully not anytime soon though.

4 year contract with a buy out clause of X amount of pounds ( I'd set this in the millions bracket).
We really have a winner and I trust him to make Hibs a force in Scottish football while we have him. Which means one thing we have to keep backing the team even when we have a bad spell to make sure the board get the funds too finance players he needs/ wants to bring in.
Think I'm trying to say if he see's the ambition from board and fans I think he'll stay for a while and be happy to extend.
