    Stevie May

Just signed for the Dons. Good signing for them. Maybe they will let Rooney go?

Definitely a good signing for them if he stays fit. They've recruited well this summer.

They'll have to now by the looks of it, do they not have about 5/6 strikers on the books, and are currently playing with one up top

  5. #4
Damn, thought he was going to be Graham's replacement for a second!

Very good signing for them unfortunately.

    Poor man's Simon Murray.

Very good signing for them. Interesting to see what happens there with Rooney now.

Rooney would be perfect for us. We play two up front so more chance of game time here. And gives us great options up front.

Agreed, plus big Davy. I'd consider Rooney come January if we felt we were needing reinforcement.

We should sign Rooney, just to give the people who used to criticise Cummings for doing nothing but score goals a new target.

We'll need reinforcements anyway. With Graham away we need another striker.

Surely we couldn't afford Rooney now. Before Stokes maybe but don't think we'll be looking at paying a transfer fee/high wages for a Brian Graham replacement.

That's a great signing for them. They get it right most times to be fair

If he's fit, hardly kicked a ball in 2 years due to a bad injury

Apart from their revolving door of managerial appointments post Smith(y must go) - Porterfield, Skohdhal, Aitken, Miller, Hegarty, Tangoman, Pele...

At times they make us look less of a Hibstorical basketcase.

I'd be shocked if we brought rooney in, as he'd probably demand a fee and a hefty wage

If he's surplus and wanting game time though he might listen. Would give us options and a bench regardless of the starting line up I probably haven't seen in a hibs side in my time watching them

I'd definitely take Rooney but not sure he'd get a game for us right now. Why would he come to Hibs to sit on the bench?

May, if fit, will do very well for them.

If Shaw goes out on loan We then only have three strikers If one gets injured for a y length of time would be good to have back up

    Left by mutual consent!
If he recovers fully from injury and rediscovers his St Johnstone form then that is a fantastic signing for the sheep. For me right now, this signing could go either way.

Rooney must surely now be surplus to requirements there

Would be some three up top stokes murray and Rooney goals galore

I can't see us being in for Rooney but would take him if it was a possibility. Gives us good options and cover up front.

Is there any sign that a) Rooney wants away, b) the Dons want rid of him or c) we'd want him?
