    C'mon Oor Bonnie Lassie's!!

Scotland -v- England at the womens Euros is just about to kick off on C4. A few Hibbys in the Scotland squad, and a real chance of beating a very talented England side.

    C'mon girls, do us proud!!

1-0 England. Simple through ball and the Arsenal striker is 1 on 1, good finish but we are playing decent so far.

Been a good first 10 mins before losing the goal, hopefully flood gates not about to open.

1-0 to England. The Hibs ladies are on the bench.

    Yards on.

Not quite sure what I was expecting but for an international game this is really poor.

It's been competitive, fairly even and I've yet to see anyone dive or roll around like they have been shot. Scotlands striker Jane Ross has looked very decent too.

    2-0 as I type this

It's hard to take the womens game seriously when you see a series of goals like this.

Jeezo!! 3-0 and that was awful defending. I can see England getting 8 or 9 here.

like the 2nd goal the keeper not covering herself in glory and our defenders too slow to react...game over after 30 minutes unfortunately

I wonder what level the Scottish ladies team would be able to compete at in the men's game? I reckon teams in the Lowland league would probably hammer them.

I thought there would be goals in the big match tonight and I was right.
2-0 to Dundee United away at Buckie Thistle.

Watched a few minutes. Scotland are abysmal although I gather they have some of their better players out injured. Looked like it could be seven or eight nil if England keep the tempo up.

Standard posts slating the women's game 🙄.

For what it's worth, the standard of the English players is pretty decent, their defenders in particular. The English players all seem a lot physically stronger than us, they look like proper athletes.

But for a good goalie and 2 decent central defenders, we would have a decent side. Scotland are competing well across midfield, and look dangerous up front. We have a total lack of height in this team, so the corners and crosses are just wasting possession. Having said all that, England are clearly a very talented team and are superior with the ball.

If Hibs ladies are with Glasgow the best ladies team in Scotland how come none of our girls are in the team? Do Scotlands best players play down south?
