IF rumours/newspaper reports are to be believed we have just turned down/failed to sign Berry for £250k. Money which, imo, be better spent on signing Moult, a proven goalscorer in the SPFL, having scored 18 goals in each of the last two seasons for Motherwell. Add another £100k and test Motherwells resolve.

Me too. The fact that we haven't been in the Premiership for 3 seasons, means I hardly know any of the players outside Celtic and Hearts

They supposedly asked sevco for £500K plus O'Halloran. Moult only has a yr left, he can sign a pre contract in 6 months. I think they've tried it on, might take £300.

See without sounding arsey, how much have you all seen of Motherwell to know he's worth the figures being bandied about? I genuinely don't think I've ever seen him play, probably due to my ignorance of hardly watching football not concerning or having a direct impact on Hibs. Is he that good?

never seen him in 90 mins, but from the clips I've seen of motherwell last season, he looks clinical in the box. Did he not score against every team in the league, or something like that? He seems fast, but also got the stature to be a target. I'm not saying he's unbelievable, but he's certainly worth going for imo. Him and someone like Stokes or someone of his ilk and id be happy

He's scored 18 goals in consecutive seasons in an average to poor Motherwell team. That alone says he is good enough to me.

Aberdeen are throwing some serious money about that I don't think we will be able to match unfortunately.

I don't think we'll ever know someone is worth it until they're signed and actually do the business for us on the park but 36 goals in 76 games spread evenly over 2 seasons suggests that if we are going to pay cash for a player he's a fairly good punt.

Will be interesting to see with the sheep.
Sounds like they're going to be a little more free with the cash than we're going to be for whatever reasons.

I guess if we matched wages there may be a bit more appeal about the fact he'd be the main man here (at least as it stands) rather than one of the options?

I'd certainly be happy to have him at the club.

We just had a "7 figure sum" for Cummings. Let's invest the money. Don't know this guy but if he's good and we fancy it, this rumoured amount of money shouldn't really be an issue.
