Seen someone on Facebook suggest a chant on the 6th minute on Sunday "there's only one Bradley lowery" would be brill if people could arrange this?
For those who don't know Bradley is a 6 year old Sunderland fan who's battling cancer great wee laddie. Would be great if this happened

I was down at the stadium of light last season a few times and they do a minutes applause as well as unveiling a flag for the kid.
Not afraid to say its a tear in the eye moment each time. Very sad indeed.
Guessing the flag will be in the away end given the recent stories suggesting the wee man doesnt have long left.

Sadly going on the latest update from his family, the poor wee lad hasn't got long left.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

The latest update from his Facebook page is heartbreaking stuff. Poor wee guy has fought heroically and I'd 'happily' join in an applause for him.

Bradleys mum posted an update on his condition today, sadly it sounds like he doesn't have long left. Such a happy little boy despite his terrible illness. Would be nice to pay tribute to him on Sunday regardless of whether he is still with us or not.

Such an inspiring wee lad, life's dealt him the most awful hand but he's always got a smile on his face. Keep fighting wee guy.

In spirit I'll join in from here !!
Great if there could be a stadium announcement just before the start of the game that we're thinking of him.

This brave little boy has touched the hearts and humanity of football fans and players throughout the country. In his short life he has made his mark which is far more than most of us will achieve in our lives.

I know he doesn't have long, but every time I see an article online or the thread pop back up to the top of the page, my heart sinks thinking the time has come.
what a brave wee laddy, and what a tremendous thing Jermaine Defoe has done for him, although I think JM has done this because he wants to, I'm sure he'll be heartbroken when the moment comes.

Would be a great gesture if LS donated half the money from Sunderland fans to the charity set up in his name.
His family have released a statement saying he's no longer responsive.

Sad news.
At least we get a chance to honour the wee lad on Sunday. As will the Sunderland fans who make the tripLife should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
