    Class Conti - 66/1

Partially for the name being similar to old amadou, also in part because he has similar age and weight to the favourites but you win a lot more at 66/1...

And nothing to do with the fact the jockey is in all green.
Cloth Cap is proven over the marathon trip. Class Conti has never run further than 3m1f before. The fav also won 2 and placed in 1 good race(s) this season. In saying that Class Conti has placed in a few decent Irish races and looks lime he could be a bit of a stayer over longer so it's worth a couple of pound at the odds.

I think in him and Monmiral we have seen 2 star chasers of the future this week.

Very likely. I don't think I'll take Shishkin at 1/9 in the next

I took the EW on Funambule Sivola at 14/1. He ran really well and kept Shishkin honest.

Impressive run from second place there, don’t think Shishkin was at his best but maybe a horse to keep an eye on.

I appreciate cloth cap will surely be the better horse given the odds and that my age/weight method isn't the best but it's all I've got.

Thyme hill at 3:35 looks to have a lovely jersey. If it wasn't the favourite I'd be going for that.
    Mon the Hibs.

I'm going to have a wee wager of Roksana in the next. That's based on Thyme Hill maybe not being 100% and Paisley Park having had a hard race at Cheltenham.

I thought she had it. Would have won but for clattering the last hurdle, which cost her a bit of momentum.

Hard to say. She ran a blinder bar that last hurdle but O'Brien always looked quite happy on Thyme Hill.

Typical, it'll be the only winner I pick and I picked it for fashion rather than to bet on...

Yala Enki £10 EW at 40/1

Lord Du Mesnil £10 EW at 66/1

Ruby Walsh's five to complete the race, £10 at 8/1

Fifty quid and that's it. I don't go big on the National, where anything can happen.

I had Jett at 100/1 - clearly tired but what a lead he had/blew!

The best in the business does it again.

Jett gave me a good spin for my money at a price.

Some bookies were paying 7or 8 places so you might still get a payout. I was on with SkyBet so will get something.

My horse tanked but absolutely delighted to see Blackmore win. Brilliant.

Have they confirmed all the horses got home safe yet? I did see the screens go up on the 2nd circuit but looked like it was for a jockey (who I obviously hope is OK as well).

I think 365 only went to 5 as standard. They were offering up to 10 but at lower prices.

I didn't realise the jockey on the winner was the woman who done so well at Cheltenham.

I saw a badly injured horse at the back on the 2nd circuit.
