15,394 (.2222222) by my reckoning
277,096 overall paid their way in 18 home matches
Highest average attendance since 1972-73 (16,100) and you have to back to 1960-61 (15,471) to find the next.
So this seasons average has only been bettered once before in my lifetime and this when we are not in the top division without the much vaunted home games against Celtic, The Rangers, (Scottish football needs the (former) Old Firm to survive right enough) Hearts or Aberdeen.

We must've averaged more home fans than hearts this season.
United we stand here....

Incredible stats. Hopefully we will get at least that next year. If ER was full every second week we would have a real chance of finishing second for a decent length of time given The Rangers predicament.

Incredibly it's the highest average attendance since the early 1950's I believe
This club,Our club has finally shown it HAS the potential we all claimed was there - onwards and upwards from here!

The thing is the more we sell the more people will feel the need to buy. In previous years it's not been an issue getting tickets for Easter Road, but now nothing's guaranteed without a season ticket. I didn't get one this year, but I'll be getting 3 for next season when I return from my holiday.
Its a great time to be a hibs fan.

Wow that's extraordinary. Amazing what a difference it makes when teams have something to play for.
Anyone who thinks we cant survive without the Old Firm needs only to look at our crowds this year.

Hopefully the board grasp this when they are laying out a budget for NL and we get the type of quality to get results on the pitch.

Incredible figures. It just goes to prove that there was always a lot of love for this club out there, all people wanted was something totally positive to happen to encourage them through the door .... even so I don't think anybody could have foreseen the effect winning the cup would have, its been better than anybody could have hoped for.
It would all have been lost if we had failed to win the league this season .... the fact that we did is going to be massive for us and has put us in a position where we might even top this seasons average next season .... its great for us and its great for Scottish football, we are proof positive that there is still a hell of a lot of folk out there who care about the game in this country .... Its just so frustrating that the folk paid to promote our game are failing so miserably to use such a positive story to the games advantage.
I of course cant resist a wee poke at our near neighbours ..... I read quite often on Kickback that 'Edinburgh doesn't want Hibs' ..... all I can say is that somebody had better tell Edinburgh, coz Auld Reekie appears to be quite happy to 'support us with pride'

We have a squad full of players who look like they want to stay or under contract to do so, we have money in the bank to give the manager a competitive budget.
The Hibees have it all going for them, we are seizing the moment, this is our time!

I think it was slightly higher in 1972/73 (just over 16k).
But considering that season we had 30-40k against the OF and Hearts, our support this season was probably a lot higher.

Think we can average at least 17K next year. Would have to go back to the days of the FF to better that?

It has been great backing from the fans In order to sustain it in the SPL we will need a high level of performance on the field.
