Just a little reminder that it's not 12.30!
Also wth a large Hibs support travelling through I would give plenty time for travel.
Does the work on the M8 affect the journey ?

It may well do so, the "Missing Link" is complete, but it doesn't open until this Sunday Westbound and next Sunday 30th Eastbound according to the transport Scotland website.

Traffic is generally murder heading west as you approach the Newhouse Ind. Est. onwards,at least it is during week days. I would still allow a bit of extra travel time as most traffic will be heading for the M74.

Take the M8, it takes you up a slip road to the right in the same area as you would normally go left to the M73.
Follow the road round to left hand side and get yourself in the left hand lane as you get to the bridge that goes over the M8. There's a yellow sign saying M73/74 for left lane and Glasgow for the right lane.
Miss that and it's an long road for a shortcut.
Please be aware it is just a small sign so make sure you or the bus drivers are paying attention :)
