Best performance of the season (and it's only the 53rd minute!)

    As it says. BRILLIANT today!

I'd say so. The amount of chances we've created and the way we're passing the ball with pace and purpose is great to watch......plus we're playing a much higher quality team! 😎

We've looked fired up from the off. Great to see.

Is it a coincidence that we played our best with Mcginn, Mcgeouch, Fyvie and shinnie?

No coincidence, they were excellent today. Played our strongest midfield and it showed.

Agreed, they are 4 players that can't control a game and aren't afraid to mix it up

Said it at the game today ... Bartley is outstanding in big game type battling side , but fyvie is so much better at controlling possesion in these types of games

Fyvie is overrated and gives the ball away 6 times out of 10

Played some excellent stuff today, same team again next week. They 4 play passes that Bartley can't contribute too and they're no mugs that shy away in a battle either

No coincidence at all. Barley slows us down and doesn't offer us drive. Decent player, but the point is still there.

Fyvie was the main reason we moved the ball so well for me today. He always makes an angle for the pass and makes some great wee runs forward that pull defenders out of position and give other space to play. He may have needed the rest and hopefully he will be as influential in the cup this year as he was last. Breaks up at least as much of the play as Marv does but uses the ball so much better.

I would love to see some evidence of that. I highly doubt there's many if any pro footballers who give the ball away 6 times out of 10, never mind centre midfielders playing for the team that have won the league.

Just repeating the kind of things that have been posted on here over the last week. Fyvie is an excellent player IMO.

Ahh that makes more sense. I agree, I said on another thread that any team in Scotland outwith Celtic would be very lucky to have any of our three centre midfielders today.

Fyvie made a big difference today. Good to see him back in the midfield and also Dylan great today.

Can't have been zero. He passed one straight to opposition in first half I remember under little pressure. Thought he played well overall though.

Totally agree. When Fyvie plays well, Hibs play well. Unfortunately he took a couple of loud ones today but hopefully he'll be fit for next week.
