    Hibs Strip on eBay.

This 1980 home strip just sold for £258 tonight. Looks like there's a good market for 80s Hibs tops just now.

Yep prices are getting pretty crazy.
I paid 200 for an 89 home top recently, although it was in NM condition which makes a big difference

    Simple supply and demand

There never seems to be a large selection of hibs on eBay

    We're all hibs top hoarders

I just got the black 05/06 top for a tenner!! I'm doing something wrong.🤔

I think it's the tops from the 80s that are going for big bucks. Asa previous poster points out, many of us are Hibs top hoarders. I know I have a few myself that are in mint condition that would sell for way more than a tenner. There always seems to be plenty strips from 2000 and later that go pretty cheaply.

I had that one when I was a bairn. Think it's still on a Hibs teddy in my mum's attic. I've also got the white '89 one in medium if anybody wants to give me £258 for it

I have a Napoli away shirt i bought on my honeymoon in Sorrento in 1990. Unfortunately it has the number 9 on the back . If it was a 10 for Diego Maradonna it would be worth even more. This was the first year they won Seria A.

Are those match-worn? They look it, but No 17 is a bit out there for the pre-squad number era and pre 5-subs era! (And the Bukta sponsored shirt is 70s by the way).

Those are things of beauty. I'm a bit of a sentamentalist and to me these, the early 70s "Tornadoes" top and the early 80s umbro efforts are the best ever Hibs tops

I've got one of them. Haven't worn it for years but I'm not convinced I want to part with it

I've also got one of the mid 90's stripey efforts that's hardly been worn.

Lovely things, the embroidered badge is marvellous.
I have home and away 83/84 (not match worn, but ancient 21st birthday presents) with sewn on cloth badges.
I love them. Can't fit into the ****ers now. But I love them.
I had the shorts too. At least I was clever enough to cut the badges off those, also stitched on cloth. They are beautiful.

Makes you wonder what prices last seasons scottish cup winning replica jersey will go for in years to come if that's the prices going for strips of old.

I've not worn mine since that famous day at hampden, planning on framing it with my match ticket, programme and team sheet.

Absolutely. They are very hard to get hold of just now and I don't think they even come up on eBay very often.

I have put on here on a number or occasions that I would pay good money for a kids, 12 yo, strip from last year. Not because I want to make money in the future, not because I want to have it as a trophy, not because I think that it is an asset that appreciates in value but because I destroyed my sons by accident while ironing his name on it to fix a peeling letter and he is still gutted about it and won't let me forget it. His 13th birthday is next Wednesday so if anyone has one that they would sell give me a shout. You would make him and me very happy.

Hope you're right. Mines is signed by the team and safely tucked away.
