    The X77 express bus between Ayr and Glasgow is very good (might even be quicker than the train) and straight to Buchanan or Queen Street without interacting with Ibrox traffic

    Was thinking more if the return journey. Hibs fans landing in Glasgow about 6 pm and that lot will have had 3 hours in the pub after their game has ended.

    Cup tie in Ayr resulted in an almighty swedge with Huns at Central a few years back. I'll be wearing ear defenders this time.

    I watched that stramash on YouTube, I don't think it was Rangers fighting though, they don't do walking away, it was probably Chelsea and West of Scotland fans who bit off more than they could chew, pun intended
