    Ideal Premiership

    Just for fun

The teams in the top division are there because they deserve to be but what would the most attractive top 12 league look like? I'd like to see the return of the Edinburgh, Dundee and Fife derbys. Would be great for the neutrals and create a wee bit of interest.

    For me..

    Aberdeen
    Celtic
    Dundee
    Dundee United
    Dunfermline
    Falkirk
    Hearts
    Hibs
    Morton
    Rangers mk2
    St Mirren
    Raith Rovers

Good few derbys/rivalries there and no travelling to the Highlands!

Am I mistaken or are Celtic missing off that?

Have to put Queens Park in for old times sake.

    Hibs
    Hearts
    Tic
    Zombies
    Aberdeen
    Dundee
    Dundee Utd
    Motherwell
    Dunfermline
    Partick Thistle
    Kilmarnock
    Falkirk

Good few derbys, good supported clubs. 12 teams play 3 times alternate the home away games every season. No split. Two up, two down.

    Edit - if 16 add

    St Johnstone
    Morton
    QotS
    St. Mirren

Dundee Utd, Dunfermline & St Mirren in for Hamilton, ICT & Ross Co. Nothing much to choose between Partick & Falkirk.

I have to say the highland clubs are too far away and bring nowt really to the leagues other than travel and fatigue.

    Scottish cup holders
    Hearts
    Huns
    Celtic
    Aberdeen
    Dundee
    Dundee United

    Raith
    Motherwell

    Partick Thistle
    St Mirren
    Hamilton
    Edinburgh City

Chose 16 because that's the way the premiership should be. With two other leagues to stop players having the embarrassment of playing in Scottish League two. Think this would be a very competitive league for second place and relegation and a few Interesting games too!

I know I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed about playing in League Two in Scotland.

Add LA Galaxy to the mix in place of Raith.

I'd prefer a twenty team top league with the following

    Aberdeen
    Ayr
    Dumbarton
    Dundee
    Dundee Utd
    Dunfermline
    Falkirk
    Hamilton
    Hearts
    Hibernian
    Inverness CT
    Kilmarnock
    Morton
    Motherwell
    Partick Thistle
    Queen of South
    Raith Rovers
    Ross County
    St Johnstone
    St Mirren
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

I would personally like to see just one season of these teams and no bigot brothers!

I would love to see how it would pan out, we would maybe not win the League but it would be a better more balanced season!!!

42 team top league, you play everyone once and scrap the league cup.

    Failing that:

    Hibs
    Hearts
    Celtic
    Rangers
    Aberdeen
    Dundee united
    Dundee
    Dunfermline
    Falkirk
    Motherwell
    St Johnstone
    Kilmarnock
