There was never anything more certain than our game being on the Saturday. 12.15 kick off is an outrage for the Aberdeen fans.

12:15 is a rediculous start time for 2 away teams
    2pm would have been perfect

The game can't be played between 2.45pm and 5.15pm due to UEFA blackout rules, although there is a bit of leeway for extra time.

With a game the following day and the pitch and branding around the stadium to sort out, it was always going to be early Saturday.

What surprises me is people are surprised. We all get annoyed about kick off times but it is a Semi-Final, kick off times shouldn't be an excuse not to go.

Remember in 2000, we played Aberdeen at Hampden Park with a 6.05pm kick off.

In 1995, we played Celtic in a Semi-Final at Ibrox on a Friday night.

Both far better times than 12:15 on the Sat. Why not 5.15 on Sat evening, which would be ideal?

Whilst 3pm would have been perfect it's only a few hours difference. A small price to pay for yet another trip to Hampden. Can't wait.

It's on TV but you can't show any games in Britain live between 2.45 and 5.15. So it has to be 12.15 in case it goes to extra time and pens.

    Don't know why it's a surprise.

Been these times for a few years now.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

    It's only 150 miles.

Fans in countries far bigger than Scotland cope when they've got to travel way more than that for most away games.

3 hour drive, don't need to leave about 8. Hardly an early rise.

Would have preferred a 3pm k.o but more time to celebrate/commiserate depending on the result.

Never mind the Sheep....what about us Aberdeen Hibbies! The train is fortunes already, even leaving at the crack of dawn and they'll be full of Aberdeen fans. All the local bus companies are fully booked by the Sheep, looks like I'm going to have to take the car.....a sober semi, can't remember the last time I had one of them
