When the other mob won promotion they did it by focusing entirely on the league. Their cup record was terrible but they swooshed the league.
Last year we competed deep on 3 fronts. Nearly won two cups.
I wouldn't trade the sc win for promotion last year.
This year I think we've done right thing in not getting carried away cups just hope the extra games and high number injuries don't interfere with promotion. I think we're lucky in that the league is weekest in 3 years. I think our team may be weaker than last year.
Only max 3 cup games anyway just hope we can win midweek.'going be tough game tbh.

Didn't bother The Rangers last year. Lack of games at the end of the year was probably a disadvantage to them

If we managed to reach the final for a second season in a row, there's about a three week break after the last league game.
That didn't work out well for The Rangers last year... but I wouldn't be too downhearted if it means we had already won the Championship.
