Was looking for a vid of 4th January 1989 1-0 home win, last one before the hideous run. Eddie May scored. 27k attendance.

The first home derby win I'd seen.
Carnage in the old East terrace resulted in me catching someone's elbow (I think) in my puss resulting in a broken nose.... Happy days!

Edit: I was also at the previous game at tinkcastle where Archiegoal got the winner. No elbows in the face that time though - mainly because I was upside down after that goal went in 😂

The first home derby win I'd seen also. I remember being packed in the east at the corner flag in my late 80s shoegazing gear.

Those were the days. I remember the Eddie May game as well, we used to squeeze 27k into the San siro in those days and when we won that day I remember being squashed against some poor guy that obviously wasn't a regular attendee against those fences at the front of the terracing. He cut his ear quite badly and was furious about it. He ended up being taken onto the pitch as everyone else celebrated the win.

    United we stand here....

The fear and anxiety and frustration among those Jambos is tangible and absolutely priceless.

Thanks everyone for the great memories,

I am waiting for a Scottish Cup 2016 montage to the back drop of Born Slippy, For What you are Dreaming Of, A Final Hit, Deep Blue Day, Lust for Life and Perfect Day...
