    Forgotten players

Was thinking about players who had played for us that I had totally forgotten about , weather it be bad players or average players

The big Lithuanian who had a great game at Ibrox(can't mind his name)
Marc libra ( great player for us on his day)
Tom smith ( injuries stopped this guy from being a very good player for us)

Any other that other people remember ?

The big Lithuanian was Valdas Trakys I think?

Valdas Trakys is the Lithuanian guy.

Not really forgotten as I remember him but Morten Hyldgaard. Goalkeeper signed at the same time as Daniel Andersen. Came with a decemt reputation but not sure he played more than a couple of games.

One I genuinely can't remember playing for Hibs is Freddie Daquin. He's often refered to as ex Hibs but I literally can't remember a game he played for us.

Derby at Tyencastle? Barely left the centre circle. Think that was his one appearance.

Just found it strange finding a thread about forgotten players then trying to remember them.

No need for the cheek either.

Craig James ?? Think that was his name , can't even remember if we signed this guy or if he was on loan but I'm pretty sure scored at Tynie

There was also a striker in the MacLeish era , scored a couple of goals for us, sure he was signed from down south but his name totally escapes me

Bjarni Larusson. Scored on his debut. Did nothing else at all.

To be fair , your comment sounded pretty cheeky mate. I apologise if your comment wasn't offensive

Certainly was - indeed I think he was listed as "trialist" that day

James scored in the 4-4 disaster.

Phil Airey. Played about 25 minutes for us then went back down south.

Who was the Candian youngster? Signed by McLeish maybe. Emilio Bottlegerio or something.

I was actually going to start a thread on this very topic as someone mention Abdellah Zoubir as ex hibs and it took a Google search and YouTube to remind me that he ever had the honour of playing for the club. Nothing personal against the guy, we've had much worse, I just totally for got he was on our books.

It was before the 'new' Gorgie Road Stand was built because I remember sitting in the asbestos stand when Hibs used to get a section of that for derbies. 93 or 94 if I had to guess.

Ta, the name doesn't register with me at all, probably for the reasons mentioned about his performance

Thinking about this a few weeks ago, looking over signings recent managers made and I totally forgot about some of the weird and wonderful dross we have signed in the past 10/15 years!

I was going to say exactly the same thing in terms of the years - sure it was during the Eamonn Bannon season.
