Mark McGraw - hopeless
Hakim Sar Temsoury - totally hopeless
James McPake - not terrible but I hoped for better
Scott Robertson - had pedigree but failed to deliver
Liam Craig - thought he'd be a player for us but only played well occasionally
Who was the young Trinidadian striker we signed around Latapy's time who did little?
Others?

Signings that excited you but didn't live up to expectations

I was genuinely excited by Brian Kerr. Also thought Billy Kirkwood was a great signing. Ah well......

I thought Jonatan Johansson would score for fun.
I also thought Allan Smart would do really well for us but it never worked out. There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars

Barry Lavety,
Stevie Crawford,
Bryan Gunn,
Ray Wilkins (for many, many reasons)

Alan O'Brien without a doubt. Remember being told he was "Sproule on a motor bike", he had caps for his country, had played for newcastle etc. and that generally we had landed an absolute gem.
Oh how badly that turned out. One of the worst players i've seen in my time watching hibs. Dreadful.

Willie Irvine 2, Alan O'Brien, Edwin De Graaf without thinking about it.

Sitters and Wilkins good call though. Hartley too in that bracket.

Vaz Te looked class and it was no surprise when he moved on to bigger things.
Hurtado would be one for me. Fabrice Henry is another one; with a name like that he should've been class.

Steven glass - was so chuffed we'd got him, but injuries did for him
Paul Dalglish - again, excited when he signed, and he wasn't bad, but it just didn't work out for him
dirk lehmann - thought he was going to be so much more, but like dalglish, wasn't bad but hoped for more
alan o'brien - nuff said
