The rain has been relentless and with more heavy rain forecast till kick off could the game be in danger of a postponement?? The wind won't help either. Anybody any idea how good the drainage on the pitch is and if it will cope with all of this rain?

It's fine in a Central Edinburgh- just some wind. Quite warm in fact. Better than -8 December weather!

It's pretty wild in the Borders at the moment, suffice to say the floodlights will be on from the ko! It's black down here.

They are moving with the times and sending in Ian Cathro with a team of botanical scientists to take soil samples and determine whether or not the pitch is playable. If the acidic levels of the soil could discolor the footballer's strips, then a team of highly trained counsellors will be in the dressing room at half time to provide support to distressed stars.

I'm in Dunfermline just now. It's chucking it down with a freezing cold wind.

Snow lying in Pitlochry.

It's just a bit of rain. And hail. And wind. And it might be freezing too but get to the game. It'll be on.
