We would've been dead and buried in the semi if it wasn't for him, then being the penalty shoot-out hero was incredible, but you just had a feeling of that happening.
Sometimes football has these little fairy tale situations.
from bad injury, to hope of training, to a legend in a matter of weeks.
Amazing.

Nothing against Marciano but Logan might have been worth keeping to add a bit of Budgie-style clout and character to the team.

When I first saw him in the flesh I thought it was a joke and it gave me hope that I could play professional football one day (I'm an overweight wheelchair user!).
However that performance against Dundee Utd in the semi final is one of my favourite performances by a single Hibs player and I've no doubt it was that performance which allowed us to win that match and then the rest, as they say, is history.
He may have only played a few times for us over the course of a few months but there is no doubt that he will forever be remembered as a Hibs legend.

Logan is just another fantastic wee side story which combines to make that cup win so so memorable.

It's many years since I remember appreciation like that for a Hibs goalkeeper's performance. Andersson and Burridge at hampden v the huns, Leighton at times and Goram on a few occasions particularly once at Tynecastle. And to think that he had another couple of solid stops after that one and then saved two penalties, as well as all the good saves earlier on. Unbelievable performance.Last edited by Mr White; 22-12-2016 at 12:44 PM.

It's fair to say if it wasn't for Conrad it would be 115 years total legend in my eyes :-))

The cup story has loads of little side-stories but the Conrad Logan story has to be one of the best.
Legend, and I doubt he'll ever top his Hamden semi-final heroics. What a couple of hours the big man had.
He's one of a few guys who will never have to buy themselves a drink in this part of the world ever again, even if his is normally a keg.

Conrad or Neil? Neil or Conrad?
Know who I'd choose, but hey, that's probably a whole new thread.

One of the stories of this years cup triumph.
Spoke well in the Cup Final DVD, comes over as a humble grounded family man. And a legend to boot.
Welcome at my house forever.
