Should be a routine win, but I'm going to go for 1-1, which will be all the more disappointing, as I'm sensing Dundee United might get the same score at Ayr.
I fancy a whiff of controversy too, perhaps another bizarre red card or a soft penalty, and maybe yet another long-term injury as those tend to hunt in packs.
As you might be able to tell, I'm not a great fan of the festive period.

Shouldn't be anything less than a very comfortable victory.

People questioning the team, a 'controversial' starter scoring and people being 'delighted to be wrong', a stuffy game in which we grab an unconvincing 2-0 win that leaves more questions than answers. An evening of debate between those who argue the win is all that matters, those who love a moan and those who realise you can still question aspects of a performance even when winning. Overuse of garbage terms like 'bedwetters' and 'skooshers' then a calming down by about Wednesday as a totally unoriginal transfer rumour does the rounds.

Think we will pump Dumbarton tomorrow, will go for a killing tomorrow and say 5-1 Hibs.
But will take a 1-0 win, any win will do, anything other than a win and the rubber blanket will be on the bed.

Vital that we win as I doubt we`ll take more than 5 points from 3 following games . Chance to boost goal difference too which as we saw last season can be important . Dumbarton along with St Mirren and QOS ( worst in league by a long way at present as we saw at ER ) seem to be much weaker than other 7 teams so predict a 4 v 0 with Boyle prominent starting or as a sub .

A 2-0 win in an unconvincing performance with Cummings saving the day with a double from the bench after he is begrudgingly brought on with 10 minutes to go. The forum will be waxing lyrical about how Boyle ran about really well and Holt did a good job standing still and making it difficult for defenders whilst bemoaning the fact Jason never held the ball up on a couple of occasions. Our highest goals per minutes man Graham will continue to warm up aimlessly for the full 90 minutes. Sorry, needed a wee vent,
2-0 Hibs after scoring in the middle of the second half in an uninspiring game with the Sons playing 10 at the back and us hitting 20 shots which hardly force the Keeper to make a save. Goals from Cummings and a late one from Graham.

An unspectacular 3-0 win. Dumbarton are shocking.

Too many key players missing.
I sense a disappointing 1-1 and hope against hope that I'm wrong and we win - by hook or by crook.Last edited by Hi Heid Yin; 10-12-2016 at 12:34 AM.

Overpriced, inedible pies, cold weather and long queues at the food kiosks will be the only downsides.
An early goal will settle the nerves and we'll bombard them, eventually giving them a good thrashing.
4-0.
I can also see United dropping points as their luck has got to run out some time. It's time we reasserted our dominance on this league.

Dumbarton had a very tough and disappointing game in midweek and will be suffering mentally and physically.
If we get an early goal we could well score a few, but even if we do our usual huffing and puffing their legs will be gone in the last 10 minutes when Jason will finish them off.
Probably 2-0

Bah Humbug!
2-1 to Hibs in front of a crowd of 13,200.
D-Utd to go down to a shock defeat in Ayr... in front of 3 men and a scabby wee dug.
