excellent couple of goals there. Both second goals were top drawer.

Do England not play in the competition anymore? I see Scotland play the republic on Friday to decide the winner.

England felt they could get better challenges elsewhere, make of that what you want

I know the won it most years, but I never felt the competition or quality was that different. I think it gives young boys a great chance so showcase themselves, they may never get another chance to get on the tele. Presumably this is the reason sky aren't interested now?

Maybe when they start out performing Wales, NI and the republic at euros they can be that arrogant.

Got to be said on the little I watched in previous years England tended to have a huge physical advantage however football wise werent really any better than the others.

When I watched Scotland win it in 2013 the same could be said of England bigger and stronger. Fitter, I wouldn't say so it was a real war of attrition at times in horrible conditions. Ability wise Scotland more than matched them.

A few of the squad are still in and around their respective first team squads. The McRorie brothers at The Rangers, Ali Coote at Dundee United, Archibald and Calvin Miller (superb player) at Celtic plus Kevin O'Hara at Falkirk so it's encouraging to see these players maintain their potential and hopefully continue to progress.
