I love this incarnation of Roman Reigns, he's one of the best talents they have but he's been booked absolutely terribly for years.

What annoys me is if the Reigns heel turn was this good, imagine how era defining a proper Cena heel turn could have been.
It's been apparent for years what needed done with Reigns, everyone could see it but Vince

Cena was pretty much a heel a fair few times, for all he came out smiling and with the "Never Give Up" merch he used underhand tactics and was constantly booed, as all good heels should be. Still think for all the plaudits Cena has had over the years he's actually underrated 8n people's memories

Lars Sullivan back - and now there's accusations of him sending inappropriate messages to a yoga teacher on Instagram.

Hopefully that will be the last of him on TV. Seems like a right ******** and terrible in the ring.

Kofi was champ and there was no need to split them up though.

Sullivan is not only Vince's dream heel, he's the perfect heat-seeker for the empty arena era.

Right time for Drew to drop the belt IMO but to the wrong person. At this point all the heat has left that feud and it looks like we’ll get another match out of it yet.

Hope Drew gets the title again when the crowds are back, he couldn't have had worse luck with the timing of the pandemic and the peak of his return.

Saw a clip on the twitter today - neckbreaker, then he gets up and goes "yes sir, I can boogie" which I thought was great.

1.5m yanks wondering wtf he's going on about and about 15 Scottish folk marking out!

Would have rather seen Drew v Roman at WM next year if they can't get Rock.

Just saw the big debut. Surely at his age he won't be there for long?

    May need to watch AEW.

I think Aew are getting in older names to raise their profile but also to get the younger guys over. They've done it with Jake Roberts and Taz in managerial roles and obviously with Chris Jericho and MJF. Perhaps Sting's role will be similar.

I don't really watch wrestling these days but find the emergence of AEW interesting enough. However, I remember watching Sting as a 10 year old in 1990 - before he was 'crow Sting' - and don't mind admitting I got goose bumps watching his appearance 30 years later.

Of course entrance video and cracking theme tune helped!

According to the bookies Goldberg is short favourite to win the royal rumble, which would make me think Lesnar will would beat owens for the title in the ppv in between then setup the rematch between the two.

Goldberg v Reigns is a definite next WM. Drew v Shaemus too I would guess, I don't think that will be a title match though, my guess would be Edge Orton for the belt Shaemus to heel turn against Drew costing him the title.

Saw that, lung issues but apparently not covid related. Only 41,very sad news. All the tributes about him being the ultimate family man just make it even worse difficult to read.

Really horrible news, just so sad.

I wonder if it was expected though? I've just read his son submitted Kenny omega for the aew championship last week, so it kinda feels like he's maybe been unwell for a while.

Surely they're not gonna do that.

I read who roman is up against at the rumble, that's an interesting choice.

Bid debut on aew this week again by a tag team from another promotion.

Not sure how long these cross overs will last.

Daniel Bryan and Bianca Belair mate.

Bryan was the favourite but Seth Rollins is now the favourite to win the men's rumble. He was 14/1 this afternoon!

    👍🏻

Very rarely tune in for WWE anymore but I always try to watch the Royal Rumble. A first without a crowd, hopefully it goes well.

Drew vs Goldberg sucked. That kind of match only works if the “legend” has relevance.

Women’s RR match - last two correct, wrong winner though. Why do WWE keep bringing Jerry Lawler back to be sleazy all the time?

Reigns vs Owens - excellent. Entertaining and a superb false finish.

Men’s RR match - soon as Orton was taken to the back you knew Edge would be seemingly the winner to walk into an RKO. Especially when they cut backstage to him getting an ice pack. Killed the whole match for me.
