There’s something special about pulling an all nighter for the big Vegas fights tho. Goes back to Tyson v Bruno got me.
When I was in my prime I liked it, these days I will likely be pished and asleep before it starts haha

Seems to be a bit of a shift with the timings recently.

Canelo v Smith was at an earlier time to help British audiences, and talk of Canelo v BJS being at midnight UK time too.

Both promoted by Matchroom/Dazn with two British fighters involved. They’re chasing subscribers so it makes sense.

Big night for Lee McGregor tonight. Not often I cheer on a rabid Jambo but I’ll make an exception.

Outstanding and a great interview after the fight. He’d be made welcome at ER.

The differences in him now are incredible, great to see him and Josh bounce off each other, and for him to now be on the undercard in Vegas (like Josh was under Frampton) is incredible.

    Looks a different fighter.

Stronger, more fluid and considered strikes to head and body. Always enjoyed his fights but he previously had a tendency to smother his work.

Looking the real deal now for sure.

Gutted Vegas isn’t looking like a realistic option as that would be one hell of a trip!

He's a really good fighter, surely going to move up to heavyweight with his height??

He said last night he wants another belt at Cruiser (ideally against Breidis) before moving up

I've not seen last night's fight yet but I find him difficult to watch. Seen him in the flesh a couple of times and several times on telly and his awkward, holding style is no fun.

That style is long gone, boxes at range behind his jab now. Very dangerous right hand. Mcguigan has done a brilliant job with him.

Can’t be that long gone, I’ve seen all of his recent fights until the last two. Delighted to hear he’s developed since then tho. His story is a great one and he’s a likeable guy. Also chuffed for Shane, he’s had a bit of a kick in the last year or so.

You could see it was on the way out when he fought Ngabu for the European title on the Taylor v Prograis undercard. Think he had been with Shane for about 6 months at that point.

He’s improved massively since then, and can only see him getting better. Wouldn’t throw him in with Breidis yet though.

Povetkins legs were gone for entire fight. Looked like Bambi on ice.

Don't think he would have lasted 12 rounds if he was the only person in the ring, weekend at bernies

Big fight on Saturday on Channel 5, Frampton v Herring for the WBO Super Featherweight world title. Starts 10pm

Tough ask for Carl, tall rangy Southpaw. If he wins, he will become the first ever three weight world champion from the island of Ireland.

  29. #2098
Huge night for Frampton tonight, he’ll need to get in close early otherwise it’ll be a long night against a man far taller than him.

  30. #2099
Hope Frampton can pull this off but I'm just not sure he's as good as he was.

He needs to find a way inside early doors and try to rough Herring up.
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Think that's how it's unfortunately playing out after the first two, Frampton isn't as good as he once was, hopefully he's just starting slow
