    How is Keatings?

Really important player for us, I think, and seemed to take a really sore one - was limping heavily. Anyone know if he is ok?

Saw James on crutches with his leg strapped up when leaving the stadium.

He said he thought he'd done his medial ligament - but I don't suppose that'll be confirmed till later.

Hopefully not as serious as anticipated.

Hope he's ok..didn't look good being carried off.

He's been in good form this season and has an impressive scoring ratio.

He's a good player finally getting a decent run in the team and things look to be working out for him. Hope he recovers and gets back in the team as soon as possible.

How long are you out for medial damage? That isn't what far if had is it?

It depends how serious a tear it is, but probably 6-8 weeks minimum I'd have thought.

I believe he's due to go for a scan tomorrow to find out.

    Not good. Hopefully nothing serious

Hope it's nothing serious, Keatings is a good players, he is a better all round striker than JC ! He has a good football brain was just starting to show he can work well with Holt ! I thought last year that he was a better player to work with Stokes as well...
He links the game up well and his attitude seems to be spot on just now , confident as well ! Fingers crossed ...

Hope he is ok ...... not scoring a lot, but his workrate and movement at least give defenders something to think about and that's always a handy thing to have.

When Farid got injured we ended up bringing in Malonga. We certainly need another footballer alongside Holt. Hope Keatings is okay.

When it was so obvious that he was in real pain, why did it take so long to get the help to take him off?

    The ball was in play.

Hmmm not so good. Hope he is ok.

I think that out of all the strikers, keats is the one that Lennon trusts the most in terms of carrying out instructions. Defending from the front, closing down etc

I would rather have seen JC get his place back through pressure put on Keatings rather than because he is crocked.

I think he either hurt himself when he did his knee slide celebrating his goal or straight after kick off when he scored the first challenge was when the injury occurred.

Didn't look good so except him to be out a few weeks.

He has just tweeted that he has had his scan today and now looking forward to club event tonight re cup final movie. No mention of condition but those of you who are present tonight might have a better view based on first hand sight in limping!!

Not so good - just when he was starting to make his mark in the team and showing a bit of form. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Spoke to him last night and he was hoping to get the results last night or this morning. He isn't very confident it will be good news.

That's a shame for Keatsy as he was starting to look good this season.

Although it is one area of the squad we have plenty strength in depth so lets hope JC, Holt and Graham step up the plate. May even be an opportunity for Insall to come back and fight for a place?
