This'll be a tough one. Would probably take a draw, then the same in Spain again.

Spain 8 corners to none in first half 70% possession, but still 0-0. Now where have I seen this before?

0-1 Spain, shocking moment from Buffon, when do you ever hear that about him?? Big mistake by the legend.

Looks like a bad injury for Robbie Brady in ROI v Georgia. Neck-brace and stretchered off. Hopefully just a precaution.

It wasn't that long ago that Italian clubs and the national team were among the best in world football with quality in every position. Now they have to rely on a work ethic to compete while the top man up front plays for Southampton.
Kind of sad to see what they've become.

He doesn't even play for them anymore - plays in China!

They have some exceptional young players coming through and only went out of the Euros in a double digit penalty shoot-out. They are still a solid team with a world class defense. Juventus are undoubtedly one of the world's best sides. Rest will get there when their stadiums are built.

Italy striker Graziano Pelle has been released from their World Cup qualifying squad to play Macedonia on Sunday for refusing to shake the coach's hand.

The ex-Southampton forward, who now plays in China, was substituted by Giampiero Ventura in the 1-1 draw against Spain on Thursday.
But he walked past Ventura and ignored his outstretched hand as he made his way off the pitch for Ciro Immobile.

Good. What an erse, waste of a jersey, inflated ego and that penalty miss against Germany...

He's got more talent than Immobile but not a tenth of his application - Ciro changed the game when he came on. And don't get me started on that imposter Parolo, I'd question him getting into the Hibs midfield, never mind how he gets a game for Lazio and criminally La Nazionale..
