Predictions for Sunday - Hibernian v Dundee United

I don't do predictions ..... this is a huge game for Dundee Utd and they are going to give it everything, if they beat us its possible they will only be 3 points off the top of the league and will have two home games against us and Falkirk still to go, it will be a hell of a tough game and what we do at left back could be critical. Anybody who thinks this is going to be anything other than a war of attrition is kidding themselves.

I think we'll win comfortably on Sunday.
United are strong going forward and weak at the back - they'd be mad to focus on defence, their weakest part of the team. They'll come out to score goals and beat us and that plays into our hands.
I'd almost rather play Rangers, Aberdeen or in this case Dundee United with our team and or players than Falkirk, Raith or Queen of the South. We should normally have enough about us to beat the lower teams in our league but I really worry about our ability to score enough goals against streetwise teams who defend well in and in numbers like the teams I've mentioned.
This game could be an absolute cracker and if United score first (which they're more than capable of doing) then it could be a very interesting and difficult game for us indeed.
I must admit I'm really looking forward to it. One of the biggest game of our season and would be a massive 3 points if we were to get them.

If Hibs don't take enough of the chances they create (that's their weakness) they are likely to lose or maybe draw this match. Hoping I'm wrong.

I think this is a very tough one to predict. I'm going to go for a narrow 1-0 win, and only because we're the home side.

A plucky 1-1 in which we miss a million chances after going 1-0 up through JC

My prediction - Craig Thompson will stop the game from being free flowing.

Comfortable home win. I've gone Hibs/man utd and arsenal all -1 at 13/1.
We've had a disappointing couple of weeks but Jase will be back on top form and fancy 3-0

Dundee united are pretty gash and have, by all accounts, been incredibly lucky in almost every game.
We will win and with a bit to spare. Just need to hope that forster/mcgregor as a pairing works and hanlon at left back works out.

I think we'll win pretty comfortably, there are a few players who haven't been firing on all cylinders but this game will suit us IMO.
2 or 3 nil Hibs for me.

All down to us. If we get our focus and determination back, we win. If we louder around in the half-*rsed huffing and puffing way we did against Ayr and QOS, it could be a frustrating Sunday lunchtime experience.
We need a dominant performance and everybody to step up and really want to do the business.

I said there would be 'quite a few goals' in the QoS game so Im probably not best qualified to be giving predictions.

They are dangerous and will score...but we are better and will take advantage of their dodgy defence.

I think it will be a decent game, both teams trying to play. I fancy Hibs to win 1-0, with a late goal from either Graham or Hanlon.
