Good to have some cover for the Living Legend.

Another experienced player added to the squad. NL has brought in some decent players in his first transfer window. Hopefully this will be another decent addition

Wonder why it's a very short contract? Would personally have thought it would have been till the end of the season at the very least.

Unless NL has another target in mind when the Jan window opens that is even better?

Maybe just being cautious because of his injury history and seeing how it goes till January? With all things going well then extending it to the end of the season. Is my guess..

Can't help thinking that if we have a bit of money to spare Chris Burke is who we should have been after. If he's anything like the player he was he's exactly what we need.

Its only a 3 month deal due to his past with injuries. Be taking a cautious approach to see how he does over the next few months.

A deal until the end of the season will be offered if he gets through the 3 months.

Probably learnt a lesson from McGeoughs continued issues.

    He isnt what we need.

We wont play with out and out wingers, havent done in the 2 going on 3 seasons in this league.

Not saying we shouldnt be playing with wingers, as i believe we should be, but the management team obviously think otherwise.

Burke would spent most of his time on our bench.

Welcome Neil. I hope you do yourself justice and are rewarded with a longer term contract.
