    Train to Dumfries

Looks like it'll need to be train travel to Dumfries next week. I know we need to go to Carlisle then to Dumfries. Anyone know how much this is roughly?

Checked it on the scot rail app - bit pricey I thought. Might be other options though with virgin?

Try looking at Edinburgh to Glasgow to Dumfries. I don't know if it would be any cheaper, but it's an alternative route.

Its £18.90 for a day return to Lockerbie, then get the 81 bus from pretty much outside the station to Dumfries (journey takes 30 mins).

Going by your name I take it you are from Dunbar.

East Lothian Hibs leaving Haddington at 10.05 and Tranent at 10.30.

Booked into a boozer which does a good spread when we go down.

    Straight back after the game.

£10 for members, £12 for non members.

Geeza shout if you are interested.

Good point, but our bus would be down in time for the whole of the Man U game.

That's my main reason for letting the train take the strain.
