In the 'Greenest club in Scotland' thread one poster stated that beavers are not fish. The thread was locked before I got the chance to comment so I'll do it here:
In the 17th century beavers were classified as fish by the Catholic Church so that their meat could be eaten on Fridays. So were capybaras.

Cabin lights are dimmed in an aircraft at dusk / night to allow you to see the emergency lights on the floor easier.
Window blinds are opened for landing to allow the cabin crew to see outside.
Both are basic emergency situation prep.

The Eiffel Tower is painted 3 different shades of brown, changing from dark at the bottom to light brown at the top. This gives the impression that it's a uniform colour.
