Anyone know who we beat back in the day and who was there?

3 consecutive wins at start of season should hardly be a once in 40 years achievement.

I think you will need to go back to the early 50's the last time we won the first 4 games, when the famous 5 were rampant, if ever. Sell out next week to bear witness to this magnificent feat! By Christ, ye cannae whack a wee drink on a Sat nite EH!!

Also followed that up by winning 3-2 (away) to Rosenborg in Europa League, and destroying them 9-1 back at Easter Road. Happy days.

Hibs went out of the tournament in the next round to a fantastic Juventus side, but were not at all disgraced.

True, it's a surprising statistic that; now let's keep it going. The past two seasons brought poor starts which made the possibility of automatic promotion much more difficult.

the Famous Five never won a string of games at the start of the seasons, even Championship Winning Seasons.

You have to go back to 1946-1947 when Hibs won the first 5 League games.

1969-1970 we lost the first game to Ayr and won the next 7 including Celtc (A) 2.1 Hearts (A) 2.0 and Rangers (A) 3.1

Found this on the Hibs wiki page .
In 2000–01, Hibs got off to a great start, recording six consecutive victories in August.

Have to admit as well when the fixtures were released and I saw we had Falkirk and St Mirren away with a newly promoted and confident Dunfermline as our first home game, i feared a really problematic start so it is a fantastic start to the season

There's a mistake there. We drew with Hearts 0-0 before winning 5 on the bounce. Then lost to Celtic before winning a few more including 6-2 vs Hearts. Won 11 of the first 14 games.

Me too, while i hoped we'd win these games i was a little worried we might drop a few points. This is a great start, another win next week please.
