He takes it to the right
He puts it right into the net with all of his might
Oh Hibbies weve got the shakes
Oh.... The Shinnie Shinnie shakes.
Coat on.

Taxi
In all seriousness, I salute people brave enough to come up with songs or chants and share them here. I'm not imaginative or brave enough to do it so fair play 👍

And this one is right up there with "We are Hibs, we are good"..........

Our younger members won't know that excellent popular song.."The Hippy Hippy Shakes". Get googling guys. It's a punchy upbeat number.
My view is that Carlsberg has made a valued contribution to the Hibernian songbook canon!
Imagine the players delight if he scores and this comes down from the East!

I always hope to myself that whenever I see a 'new song thread' that's it's started by some 15 year old kid in his room, as a fully grown man doing it is not on!

I'm not going to knock the effort but I do believe players should have proven themselves worthy before they warrant a song.
Which is why I'm pushing my Jason Cummings effort because I'm astounded our 50+ goal hasn't earn't his name being sung out.
To the tune of the Mario Balotelli song. I don't know where it originated from.
Ohh
Jason Cummings
He's our striker
Released by Hearts
Now he is a Hibee and we love to sing his name
We're gonna get promoted 'cos he's scoring every game
(Repeat)

I put up this bad boy on another thread. It was studiously ignored. Perhaps with good reason. But as there might be more musically minded types on this one, I'll push my luck again.
It's to the tune of Abba's Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie (A Man After Midnight)
Half past four and the Hearts are sounding cocky
as they're singing from the wheathfield and the asbo stand
ten to go and the dream is looking rocky
as we feel that Scottish Cup we're never gonna land
Then Jason pulls one back
Paul in our last attack
Chorus:
Shinnie, Shinnie, Shinnie
a goal at Tynecastle
We don't need no help to chase the Jambos away
Shinnie, Shinnie, Shinnie
cause Neilson's an as*hole
*****ed a lead to help us to the trophy in May

Top lyrics - but with all those litigation cases about plagiarising, you better have a good brief

Although maybe that's not such a bad idea. The story of our cup run told through the medium of peurile song and dance. Maybe we could hold an end of year show at Christmas, where every one of you can get up in your leotards and perform your routines whilst I chuckle away in the audience?
Anyhow, I digress. A solid 8/10 for your chorus which imo stands up fine by itself. And sod it, you get a bonus 2 points to take you up to 10/10 for managing to get Tynecastle to rhyme seamlessly with as***e which I had miraculously never managed to notice before.

What about just singing "Shinnie, Shinnie, Shinnie, Shinnie. GOAAAAAL" to the tube of Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs? Granted it's as simple as they come but the more simple these things are the more likely folk are to join in as they don't need to learn anything (not every fan is online or on supports, buses so sometime later words to these songs pass them by), that why the Malonga song was so popular. That and he was a football God

Clearly the song must be...
Shin Shinery Shin Shinery Shin Shin Sheruuue
The Hibees scored 3......
The Rangers scored twooooo
And it only took me seconds to think of. Ah thank-you.
