I hope they can make some progressive changes.

It's a conspiracy. They should have elected Dave King.

Rangers had director Stewart Robertson up for election, but he ducked out for some reason.

Maybe too many Sevco haters still around.

I'm pleased to see LD AND Budge get on there.

We need new blood making decisions at that level of the game.

It'll do Scottish football and us no harm to have Edinburgh football well represented.

Like being capped for Scotland - you can't make any impact because of the mediocrity around you, and you risk (psychological) injury.

Dempster represents the Championship. Budge represents the top league.

That's my understanding of it anyway.

Totally agree Callum. Although Budge is a Jambo, I have been impressed with how she has handled the transition from Vlad's tenure. There are some things I am not enamoured with obviously but I think the two Edinburgh she-wolves will cause a stir in the smoky boys club. I'm not sure what the story with Thomson is as I thought he said previously he wouldn't put himself forward for selection this time.I may have misread him or did a Daily Ranger and just made it up.

My gut feel is she's ambitions and will be prized away from us within 5 years of joining us.

Good news for Edinburgh football. I can still want Hearts to lose every game and hate them for their past appreciate Budge is going about it the right way. Maybe the time has come to take the hatred down a good few notches and get back to rivalry. Show the ugly sisters up for what they are even more.

Agree, but think she will head south of the border for her next move.

Yes she will move at some point but hopefully she head hunts her successor before she does
In the meantime we are reaping the benefits of her strong dynamic Leadership and long may it continue

Can't put my finger on it but got a nagging feeling Budge is out her depth. Very vague in her interview tonight makes me feel meh.

I agree she has done a good job, but has what shes done actually been that revolutionary? Prioritise first team, ramp-up communications, listen to fans more.

I would suggest it was the poor leadership that preceded her has made her look more irreplaceable than she should be.

So will it be business as usual for celtc and the new boys or will we see meaningful changes now there are some new types of people involved? Looking forward to seeing what this board will do that is different.
