    That's a very solid pairing, I think.

I quite like Matteo, and while Clarke doesn't seem cut out to be a manager, he's clearly a respected coach.

Villa seem to have a few issues with the sale of the club, though. Here's hoping the new owner is not some chancer who's trying to blag them.

Not sure about Villa. Too many players let them down last season then the new owner declares that he's going to make them one of the top three clubs in the world. And promises £50 million to spend. Considering Burnley paid about £12 for Andre Gray that's nothing.

I like Steve Clarke and Di matteo was given a bit of a bum deal by Chelsea. English Championship next season is going to be interesting

Remember watching villa last season thinking they could be a good bet to go down again next season. Still think that's a possibility but probably depends what players they bring in.

I wouldn't rule it out. Could be the next Leeds. Saw the social media thing going about saying that since the last time Jack Wilshire played a full 90 minutes for Arsenal Leeds have had SIX managers.

Think he has the makings of a very good manager. What happened to him at Chelsea was ridiculous

    5 managers in a year?

Not exactly the sign of a well-run club.

    Cant really complain.

Over hauled the squad, spent £50m on players, 2 strikers being McCormack and Kodija = £27m.

1 win in 11 games and havent even looked like winning most of them.

Catastrophic slide since O'Neil walked. Massive potential for whoever gets it right.

A big club in a bad mess: just one league win so far. They need some points sharpish.
