Would love him to come back next season if he could play like that more often. Regardless of what he does now he will always be a hibs legend for that performance and the goals.

If we end up playing Celtic in the cup next season. I'll have no problems applauding him.

Stokes was immense, totally immense. Turns out that Stubbs got that transfer just about right.

I've just watched full game back for the first time with a clear head. I can't recall a better individual performance from any hibs player, well ever. Especially given the circumstances.

You're defense is terrified cause stokesy's on fire....

Watched the whole game this morning. Absolutely amazing performance, tore them apart at times. He certainly was on fire.

Would love to see him come back next season but truth is, he`s too good to be plying his trade in the Championship. Also, now that Septic have a new manager, Stokes will be keen to impress him.

I don`t care if he scores goals against us in the future, from now on, he`s one of us

Love Stokes, Saturday was the best individual performance on the biggest stage from any Hibs player in my lifetime (I'm 47) end of.

We won't be seeing him in a Hibs strip again. Doesn't matter though, cause he's leaving a legend.

He's only got a year left, depends if the new manager thinks he can do it at Celtic. Depends if Stokes is happy to sit on the bench at Celtic, or play most weeks at Hibs. Time will tell

I backed him for the first goal in all 4 play off games then changed backed to Jason on Sat cos he always scores against the huns! IIRC i backed him to score first in his first game for Falkirk and he scored in the 1st min so i've decided to forgive him! Get in there Stokesy!

I read the Celtic Cup Final thread which was a real roller coaster in terms of the soapdodgers' comments about us. The overwhelming theme in the thread was Stoke's performance, seconded by Henderson's potential. I doubt very much if either will be available for loan renewal next year, but you never know, as Rodgers has said the he intends to reduce the size of the Parkhead squad.

Stokes ran Sevco ragged. They couldn't live with him. A Hibee hero for ever

    Legend.

Anyone who had any doubts (and I did) just needs to watch his interview right after the FT whistle to hear how much it meant to him, how generous he was with his praise of Hibs, David Gray and the Hibs fans.

On the day that REALLY mattered, Stokes was immense and every bit the player we thought we'd captured in January. Tavernier will need therapy and having nightmares for months.

If that's Stokes last game for Hibs what a way to go.

He, along with every other player in the squad, will be warmly applauded by me if they ever return to ER in an opposition strip. Each and every one of them has earned it.

There's been mixed opinions on his level of performance during the past few months but I've been amazed at how good his attitude has been and how unselfish he is now as a player.

I fully agree that (in context) we will never see a better performance from a Hibs player than his on Saturday and he will always be a hero as far as I'm concerned.
