Right that's me off to the pub in an even better mood.

Nah, Malcolm's is better as it captures the fans singing rather than the background music. A moment in time never to be forgotten!

Thank you for that. What a way to end a weekend. Truly beautiful. I dont think that will ever be beaten for sheer raw emotion.

Incredible, unforgettable moment , however for me the best sunshine on leith was the original rendition at half time of the AEK Athens match.

Will stay with me for the rest of my life 🇳🇬

That was the night that absolutely confirmed it as our club anthem but the scottish cup win was the definitive rendition of it imo.

League Cup 2007 for me, as I was actually there... Couldn't make it in 2016.

did you listen/watch it somewhere? always wondered what it would have been like to have heard the result without being there..

I'm in the same boat. I like that final also because there would have been many more hibees in the rendition. It was very poignant at the time and was the rendition heard round the world while the aftermath of the Scottish was buried in negativity.

However, given our history in the Scottish Cup, the definitive edition WOULD have to be the one sung after our greatest victory. The release after the tension and euphoria must have been immense for those lucky enough to be there. There will never be a version sung in similar circumstances.

Can I just vote for this one as the worst version actually the guy is quite a handy guitar player, but he should perhaps stick to instrumentals ! to be honest I've watched this twice now and it's hard not to like the guy

What I am liking about SoL is the way that other football fans comment on it as something really special. Belongs to no one else and yet everyone knows it.

Watched the game at home, but had to leave for Gatwick immediately after, missing the presentation and SOL. Spent a lot of time catching up in Barcelona later though... after I'd sobered up. The flight was endless because I wanted to get on .net
