Delighted with the route of tomorrow's procession. Lawnmarket down the high street, leith street down to the links. Nowhere near Princes Street and the west of town.

Hopefully the driver will go at a sensible slow speed this time not just zoom by as in 2007!

Enjoy the parade everyone. Unfortunately I am running the line at two cup finals today in Dundee (one of the teams being Dundee Rangers :green grin)

Anyone have any idea if anything happening at the links or is that just the end of the bus route?

I was thinking Leith Links. I'm put off just being on the route after the bus flew past me at 30mph in 2007. Even if there isn't a plan for the links there should be a big crowd there?

SCOTTISH CUP PARADE
There'll be plenty of happy Hibees waking up this morning!
For those coming out to see the parade this afternoon, here's a message from Supe...rintendent Gavin Phillip, who is overseeing today's event.
Supt Phillip said: “We are fully engaged with the City of Edinburgh Council, Hibernian Football Club and other partners for today’s parade.
“We understand this is a significant day for Hibs and their supporters, and we are focussing on ensuring everyone has a good time and stays safe.
“I’d ask spectators to stay on the footpath and don’t crowd the team bus when it passes by.
“We will have additional police resources and extra officers around the parade route, as we would with any major event.
“This is a community and family event, and we’re sure people will respect that.”
Also, a wee note to Hibs fans to say that there will be no event held at Easter Road Stadium today.
Finally, have a good time and enjoy the occasion
