I see the weather forecast for Saturday is horrendous. Gales and heavy rain.

I said to my mates at the weekend that I'd expect nothing less than for our parade to be pissed on.

One thing almost guaranteed on cup final day over the years(in my lifetime) has been sunshine. Would be typical of us to win it on a pissing down day and then try to parade the cup in howling winds. However, I guess id take that if it meant winning the thing.

Just checked BBC weather for Glasgow looks more like some heavy showers but also sunny spells.

Saturday's Scottish Cup final between Hibernian and Rangers was abandoned with five minutes remaining due to a waterlogged pitch, with Hibs leading 3-0.

I have seen us lose in a few sunny cup finals since the 6.1 Celtic defeat so maybe it will work in our favor.

Started snowing when we beat Killie in league cup final. Am sure it started bucketing it down when we beat Rangers at Hampden in the league cup semi, so maybe bad weather will be good for us.

If we are going to win it, we will do so in spite of weather, ref decisions, mistakes, whatever. When your luck's in, your luck's in.

The weather forecast has actually improved a bit since Sunday. It was heavy rain all day and that point but is now heavy showers.
Medium-long range forecasting still isn't that accurate so I wouldn't worry too much until about Thursday.
For the record the weather for Edinburgh today was forecast to be heavy rain from about 4 onwards. I don't know about where anyone else is but where I am right now there isn't a drop of rain and hasn't been all evening.
