Loads of current buns on Twitter saying we have handed 7,000 tickets back for the final. Can't be any truth in that surely?

Hope not because we should be able to sell our allocation easily enough and I know plenty of fans wanting tickets

It's on Twitter, it must be true.

In fact we got an additional batch of tickets from Hampden yesterday on top of our initial allocation.

Hibs tweeted this yesterday,
Our original #ScottishCupFinal ticket allocation has effectively sold out-a small no of additional tickets released: http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/6504
Our original allocation was 21k, so there is no danger this is true

I read somewhere on Twitter that they're still the same club. Best ignored
"I did not need any persuasion to play for such a great club, the Hibs result is still one of the first I look for"

Yeah, as said above, we sold out our 21k, and are now selling a small extra batch we were given. Maybe theyve also had a small batch given and are thinking its come from us.

Perhaps, however 7k isn't a small batch

Some posters are now blaming Hibs for this.

Going to be a new name on the cup for the first time in 114 years at least - exciting game. Hibs have sold out before public sale.

One stub ripped off indicates the ticket is for an under 15, over 65 or a student.

For any Hun looking in....
it's official we have handed 1000's of tickets back. Some of them we have have had to ask people to return - but don't you worry about that.
We will also arrange a personal taxi, filled with your favourite "tonic wine". There will be a new scarf, option of a flute for you cute "traditionalists" ...and our personal seat warmers will keep your seat ready for you just prior to kick off...oh, and we have created a "teddy bear" picnic behind the south stand for before the match...
Please let us know anything else you would like? The players are up for just playing "long bangers" if it helps your case...
